Water-based resins for printing inks, coatings and synthetic leather

Resins set the ceiling for adhesion, flexibility and resistance in an ink, coating or adhesive. chemlinkai synthesizes its waterborne resin platforms in-house and formulates them into systems for printing inks, coatings and synthetic leather — so the property chain from polymer to finished layer stays under one roof.

Who it is for

Ink, coating and adhesive formulators who buy resin as a raw material and want a supplier that also runs its own application testing — plus synthetic leather mills and coating lines that use ready-formulated systems.

It also fits surface-treatment users: plants that coat film, paper or synthetic leather bases and need primer and top-coat roles that hold through downstream processing.

Which problems do resin and surface treatment buyers bring to us?

  • Adhesion of a formulated system on a low-surface-energy film — we start from surface treatment, then binder selection.
  • Blocking or tack in a synthetic leather top coat — resin glass transition and the finishing step are reviewed together.
  • Formulation instability — foam, pH drift or viscosity creep — we trace it to surfactant and resin balance at the formulation level.
  • Lot-to-lot consistency of the resin you buy — resins are synthesized and batch-QC tested in-house.
  • Plasticizer or migration resistance on PVC-based structures — the resin choice is qualified against your actual aging conditions.

Performance evidence

Resin and finished-system data — adhesion, flexibility, film formation and lot consistency — is summarized per project and published after verification and customer approval. Ask for the current results in your chemistry and we will reply within 2 business days.

Test & trial

From your target to a qualified system

Resin or formulation work follows the same controlled trial path, so results stay comparable.

01

Share the target

Chemistry family, substrate, end-use requirement and the current material you want to replace.

02

Lab development

Our R&D institute selects the resin platform and prepares candidate systems.

03

Application test

You run the trial — as a resin in your formulation, or as a system on your line.

04

Optimize & supply

The system is tuned from trial feedback, then batch supply starts with QC and traceability.

Documents marked “pending” are released after final verification — request the current version through the form and we will send it with the applicable scope.

Common questions

Do you sell resins as raw materials to other formulators?

Yes. Resins are supplied to ink, coating and adhesive formulators with recommended formulating ranges and application support. The platform and grade are confirmed against your formulation targets before sampling.

Which resin chemistries does chemlinkai develop?

We develop waterborne resin platforms in-house for the systems we sell. The exact chemistry is confirmed per project — describe your performance target and we will tell you which platform applies.

Can you support a synthetic leather mill with a full top-coat system?

Yes, from resin to tie coat and top coat. We validate on your base material and release paper, under your oven and finishing conditions, and report the results per test.

How do you keep lot-to-lot consistency?

Resins are synthesized and batch-QC tested in-house, and a certificate of analysis covers each delivered lot. Batch history is available on request.

What documentation comes with a resin sample?

TDS, SDS and batch COA, plus a compliance statement where applicable. They are released after final verification for the confirmed system.

What is the “Specialized & Innovative Little Giant” title on your materials?

chemlinkai has received the National-level “Specialized & Innovative Little Giant” enterprise recognition under China’s national SME program. The certificate reference is pending verification and will be published after confirmation.
